Abstract

The communication ability using effective language is very important mastered by students for their daily life. Because if they can't convey news effectively, the information also will be difficult to accept by others, and as a result mistakes and errors occur. This activity aims to train students of STKIP PGRI Pacitan. This activity carries the theme "Improving Students Communication Skills". The target of training is students of STKIP PGRI Pacitan. The location of training is STKIP PGRI Pacitan, Pacitan District. The stages of training are (1) Preparation, including survey activities, determining the location and target of activities, (2) Implementation, including training, (3) Final/Evaluation and Follow-up, including preparation of writing reports, evaluations, and projections preparation/next planning. The training sessions include (1) an introduction of students' communication to build relationships, (2) an explanation of communication strategies in the abundance era, and (3) the assignments of understanding the material that has been given by lecturers and students. The methods used are lectures, interactive question and answer, and mentoring on how to use effective language for communicating. The conclusion is the training of communication ability using effective language is very important mastered by students to support the quality of themselves for their lives.
