Abstract

ABSTRAK Rista Wahyuningtyas Pratiwi. Penyelenggaraan Program Sekolah Bebas Plastik di SD Negeri 1 Ploso Pacitan Untuk Menguatkan Karakter Peduli Lingkungan dan Disiplin Siswa Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui:1) strategi yang digunakan sekolah dalam pelaksanaan program sekolah bebas plastik, 2) mengetahui karakter peduli lingkungan siswa SDN 1 Ploso Pacitan setelah diterapkannya program sekolah bebas plastik, 3) mengetahui karakter disiplin siswa SDN 1 Ploso Pacitan sebagai implikasi pelaksanaan program sekolah bebas plastik.Penelitian ini menerapkan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 62 siswa. Metode pengumpulan datanya diperoleh dari observasi dan wawancara. Keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Teknik analisa data menggunakan model Miles and Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi atau menyimpulkan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa:1) strategi yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan program sekolah bebas plastik antara lain a) sosialisasi yang diberikan kepala sekolah setiap hari senin, b) sosialisasi oleh anggota pokja kantin, c) ulasan kembali guru kelas tentang sosialisasi yang diberikan kepala sekolah, d) membuat slogan-slogan, e) menyediakan 3 jenis tong sampah, dan f) pemberian sanksi kepada yang melanggar; 2) karakter peduli lingkungan pada siswa SDN 1 ploso Pacitan termasuk dalam kategori baik. Terbukti dengan terlaksananya kegiatan pembiasaan yang meliputi kegiatan spontan dan kegiatan rutin; dan 3) karakter disiplin pada siswa SDN 1 Ploso Pacitan sebagai implikasi program sekolah bebas plastik termasuk juga kedalam kategori baik. Dibuktikan dengan terlaksananya kegiatan pembiasaan berupa kegiatan spontan, kegiatan rutin, keteladanan dan budaya sekolah. KataKunci:SDN 1 Ploso Pacitan, Karakter, Peduli Lingkungan, Disiplin. The Implementation of Plastic Free School Program in SD Negeri 1 Ploso Pacitan to Strengthen The Environmental Care and Discipline Characterof Elementary School Students This study aims to find out: 1) the strategies used by schools in implementing plastic-free school programs, 2) learning the character of environmental care for students of plastic-free school programs, and 3) to know the discipline character of SD Negeri 1 Ploso Pacitan students as the implementation of a plastic-free school program. This research used a descriptive qualitative research methodology. The research subjects were 62 students from VA and VB grade’s. Data collection methods obtained observation and interviews. The validity of the data in this study source and technique triangulation. Data analysis techniques the Miles and Huberman models that contains reduction data, presentation data, and verification or data taken. The results shows that: 1) the strategies used in the implementation of the plastic-free school program included: a) socialization give by the principal every Monday, b) socialization by canteen working group members, c) reviewing classroom teachers about the socialization given by the school principal, d) making slogans, e) providing 3 types of trash cans, and f) sanctions against those who deny; 2) environmental care character for students at SD Negeri 1 Ploso Pacitan are included in both categories evidenced by the implementation of habitual activities that include spontaneous sctivities and routine activities; and 3) the character of discipline in students at SD Negeri 1 Ploso Pacitan as a program to implement plastic-free schools is also a good category, evidenced by the implementation of habitual activities, examplary and school culture.
