Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) mengetahui gambaran komunikasi matematis pada pembelajaran daring melalui Whatsapp Group. (2) mengetahui gambaran keaktifan siswa pada pembelajaran daring melalui Whatsapp Group. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Gawang, dengan jumlah keseluruhan 17 orang siswa. Pengambilan pada subjek penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sedangkan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi, wawancara, tes, angket dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles and Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa secara keseluruhan sudah baik dan dapat memenuhi indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang mendapatkan nilai diatas rata-rata yaitu sebesar 80%. (2) Selama pembelajaran daring berlangsung mengenai keaktifan siswa dari keenam indikator keaktifan siswa tidak sepenuhnya dapat dicapai oleh siswa kelas V SDN 1 Gawang. Hal ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, antara lain anak tidak memiliki handphone sendiri, area siswa yang tidak terjangkau oleh jaringan internet serta keterbatasan dalam proses pembelajaran daring. Kata Kunci: Komunikasi Matematis, Keaktifan Siswa, Pembelajaran Daring. ABSTRACT This study aimed: (1) to describe the mathematical communication in online learning through Whatsapp Group. (2) to describe the students activity in online learning through Whatsapp Group. The research included qualitative descriptive research. The implementation of this research was in the even semester of the 2020/2021 school year. The subjects in this study were teachers and fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Gawang, consisting of 17 students. Taking the subject of this research was taken by purposive sampling technique, while the data collection was done by the method of observation, interviews, tests, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis used Miles and Huberman models which includes data reduction, data presentation, conclusions and verification. The results of this study indicated that: (1) The overall mathematical communication ability of students was good and can meet the indicators of mathematical communication skills. This was indicated by the results of students' mathematical communication ability tests who get scores above the average, which was 80%. (2) During online learning, the student's activity from the six indicators of student activity cannot be fully achieved by the fifth grade students of SDN 1 Gawang. This was caused by several factors, including children who do not have their own mobile phones, student areas that awere not covered by the internet network and limitations in the online learning process.
