Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) profil kebiasaan bermain game online pada siswa; (2) perilaku prokrastinasi dengan kebiasaannya bermain game online; (3) upaya mereduksi perilaku prokrastinasi dengan kebiasaan bermain game online siswa SD Pucangsewu di lingkungan desa Pucangsewu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan subjek siswa SD Pucangsewu yang berdomisili di Lingkungan desa Pucngsewu dan orangtua siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan : (1) Intensitas bermain game yang tinggi membuat individu mengalami kebiasaan yang memberikan berbagai dampak terhadap perilaku individu salah satunya kecanduan. (2) para siswa Sd yang berada di lingkungan Pucangsewu yang sudah kecanduan cenderung lebih memilih untuk bermain game online daripada mengerjakan pekerjaan yang lain terutama belajar dan mengerjakan tugas sekolah. (3) Upaya mereduksinya dengan cara memberi nasehat dan pengertian tentang apa yang dilakukan itu tidak baik, mengatur waktu bermain anak, menyita gadget anak, membiasakan anak tidur secara teratur merupakan salah satu bentuk pengawasan orang tua dalam mengawasi kebiasaan anak dalam bermain game online. Kata Kunci: Game Online, Prokrastinasi, Analisis Perilaku ABSTRACT This study aimed to determine: (1) profile of students' online game playing habits; (2) procrastination behavior with his habit of playing online games; (3) efforts to reduce procrastination behavior with the habit of playing online games for Pucangsewu Elementary School students in Pucangsewu village environment. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The research was carried out in the even semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. This study used the subject of Pucangsewu Elementary School students who live in Pucngsewu village environment and their parents. The data were collected using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The validity of the data used triangulation techniques and sources. The results of this study indicated: (1) The high intensity of playing games made individuals experience habits that have various impacts on individual behavior, one of which is addiction. (2) Elementary students in Pucangsewu environment who were addicted tend to prefer to play online games rather than doing other jobs, especially studying and doing school assignments. (3) Efforts to reduce it by giving advice and understanding that what was being done is not good, managing children's playing time, seizing children's gadgets, getting children to sleep regularly is one form of parental supervision in supervising children's habits in playing online games.
