Abstract

Dini Anugerah Susianti. Penyebab Kesulitan Belajar Siswa Kelas V dalam Menyelesaikan Soal Matematika (Studi Kasus di SD Negeri Sirnoboyo 1 Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022). Skripsi. Pacitan: STKIP PGRI Pacitan, 2022. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) penyebab kesulitan belajar matematika yang berasal dari internal siswa; (2) penyebab kesulitan belajar matematika yang berasal dari eksternal siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Sirnoboyo; (3) upaya guru dalam menangani siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar matematika kelas V SD Negeri 1 Sirnoboyo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 5 siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar dipilih secara purposive sampling di SD Negeri 1 Sirnoboyo. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan uji kredibilitas data dan uji obyektivitas, dilanjutkan dengan analisis data yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa subjek penelitian mengalami kesulitan belajar dalam bentuk kesulitan mendengarkan, kesulitan berpikir, kesulitan berbicara, kesulitan membaca, dan kesulitan menghitung. Siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Sirnoboyo mengalami kesulitan belajar yang disebabkan oleh dua faktor yaitu: (1) faktor internal meliputi tingkat IQ yang berbeda-beda, sikap siswa dalam belajar, motivasi belajar, dan kesehatan tubuh, (2) faktor eksternal meliputi variasi guru dalam mengajar, penggunaan media pembelajaran, sarana dan prasarana di sekolah, dan lingkungan keluarga, (3) upaya untuk mengurangi kesulitan belajar matematika dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran konkret, memperbanyak latihan soal matematika, dan menjalin kerjasama dengan orang tua. Causes of Learning Difficulties for Class V Students in Solving Math Problems (Case Study at SD Negeri Sirnoboyo 1 Academic Year 2021/2022). Thesis. Pacitan: STKIP PGRI Pacitan, 2022. This study aims to determine: (1) the causes of learning difficulties in mathematics that come from internal students; (2) the causes of learning difficulties in mathematics that come from external students of class V SD Negeri 1 Sirnoboyo; (3) the teacher's efforts in dealing with students who have difficulty learning mathematics in the fifth grade of SD Negeri 1 Sirnoboyo. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research that was held in the even semester of the 2021/2022 school year. The research subjects consisted of 5 students who had learning difficulties selected by purposive sampling at SD Negeri 1 Sirnoboyo. The data collection techniques used interview techniques, questionnaires, and documentation. The validity of the data used the data credibility test and objectivity test, followed by data analysis which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study indicated that the research subjects had learning difficulties in the form of listening difficulties, thinking difficulties, speaking difficulties, reading difficulties, and counting difficulties. The fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Sirnoboyo had learning difficulties that were caused by two factors, namely: (1) internal factors include different IQ levels, student attitudes in learning, learning motivation, and health factors, (2) external factors include various way of teaching, the use of learning media, the schools’ facilities and infrastructure, and the family environment, (3) the efforts to reduce difficulties in learning mathematics was done by using concrete learning media, increasing practice of math problems, and cooperating with parents.
