Abstract

ABSTRAK Nur Hadi Purnomo, Konflik Tokoh Utama Dalam Novel Sandiwara Bumi Karya Taufiqurrahman al-Azizy (Tinjauan Psikologi Sastra). Skripsi.Pacitan: STKIP PGRI Pacitan, 2020. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan membahas konflik dan penyebab konflik yang terjadi pada diri tokoh utama. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan psikologi sastra. Berdasar pada teori Sigmund Freud. Sigmund Freud sebagai pencentus psikologi sastra, menciptakan sebuah teori psikonalisis, yaitu teori yang berhubungan dengan fungsi dan perkembangan mental manusia. Teori kepribadian Sigmund Freud memiliki tiga bentuk unsur kepribadian, antara lain: id, ego dan super ego. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Novel Sandiwara Bumi Karya Taufiqurrahman al-Azizy. Penelitian difokuskan pada permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan konflik yang dialami tokoh utama dan faktor yang menyebabkan konflik pada diri tokoh utama. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik membaca berualang-ulang dan mencatat, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang ditemukan dibuat tabel lalu pembahasan bersifat deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) konflik yang dialami tokoh utama “Badrun” meliputi dua konflik, yaitu konflik fisik dan konflik batin. Peristiwa fisik melibatkan aktivitas fisik, ada interaksi antara seorang tokoh dengan sesuatu yang di luar dirinya (tokoh lain atau lingkungan, sedangkan peristiwa batin yang terjadi dalam hati tokoh yang berasal dari pikirannya sendiri, dan konflik batin yang berasal dari peristiwa yang dialaminya dengan orang lain. Konflik batin merupakan konflik yang paling dominan yang dialami tokoh utama. (2)faktor penyebab terjadinya konflik meliputi; Ketidaknyamanan dengan kondisi yang ada, terjebak dalam situasi rumit, dan kenyataan tidak sesuai dengan harapan. This research aims to identify and discuss conflicts and the causes of conflict that occur in the main characcter. The approach used in this research is the literary psychology approach. Based on the theory of Sigmund Freud. Sigmund Freud as the originator of literary psychology, created a theory of psycho-analysis, which is theory that deals with human mental function and development. Sigmund Freud personality theory consist of three froms of personality elements, among others: id, ego, and super ego. The subject of this research is Novel Sandiwara Bumi by Taufiqurrahman al-Azizy. The research focuses on problems related to the conflicts happened to the main character and the factors that cause conflict in the main character. The data collection was done by reading and taking notes, while data analysis was done by using qualitative descriptive technique. The data found were made into tables and then the discussion was descriptive. The research results are described as follows: First, the conflict happened to the main character "Badrun" includes two conflicts, namely physical conflictand inner conflict. The physical events involve physical activity, there is an interaction between a character and something outside himself (another character or environment), while the inner events occur in a character's mind that comes from his own thoughts and the inner conflicts he happened to others.Inner conflict is the most dominant conflict happened to the main character. The two factors that cause conflict include; the discomfort with existing conditions, trapped in complicated situations, and the reality dial not live up to the expectations.
