Abstract

ABSTRAK Indri Astutik. Dampak Pembukaan Objek Wisata Sungai Maron Terhadap Perubahan Sosial Ekonomi Masyarakat Desa Dersono Kecamatan Pringkuku Tahun 2013-2018. Skripsi. Pacitan: STKIP PGRI Pacitan, 2023. Kecamatan Pringkuku merupakan kecamatan yang berada di sebelah Barat kota kabupaten dataran tinggi dan mempunyai potensi sumber daya kelautan. Sungai Maron terletak di Desa Dersono, Kecamatan Pringuku, Kabupaten Pacitan. Keeksotisan Sungai Maron mendapat julukan Green Canyon nya Pacitan serta juga "The Indonesia's Amazon". Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak apa yang ditimbulkan dari pembukaan Objek Wisata Sungai Maron, baik dampak positif maupun negatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan metode penelitian sejarah. Metode penelitian sejarah mencakup empat langkah atau tahapan (heuristik, kritik, interpretasi, serta historiografi). Objek wisata Sungai Maron sesudah dibuka pada tahun 2012 mengalami perkembangan yang relatif signifikan ke tahun-tahun selanjutnya yaitu dari tahun 2013-2018. Pada beberapa tahun yaitu 2013-2016 objek wisata Sungai Maron sudah mulai dikenal oleh wisatawan terutama wisatawan lokal. Objek wisata Sungai Maron yang awalnya hanya menjadi wisata ampiran telah berubah menjadi wisata tujuan. Pada tahun selanjutnya yaitu 2016-2018 objek wisata Sungai Maron mengalami peningkatan wisatawan. Dampak pembukaan objek wisata Sungai Maron ini menyebabkan terjadinya perubahan sosial ekonomi masyarakat Desa Dersono. Begitu juga dengan dibukanya objek wisata Sungai Maron ini mengakibatkan terbukanya lapangan pekerjaan bagi masyarakat Desa Dersono. yang awalnya sebagian besar masyarakat menjadi seorang petani, kini memiliki pekerjaan lain di Sungai Maron seperti joki perahu untuk menyusuri sungai, berdagang, tukang parkir, penjaga loket, dan lain sebagainya. The exoticism of the Maron River has earned it the nickname Green Canyon of Pacitan and " Indonesia's Amazon.� This study aims to discover what impacts arise from the opening of the Maron River Tourism Object, both positive and negative. The method used in this study is a historical research method. Historical research methods include four steps or stages (heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography). The tourist attraction of the Maron River, after it was opened in 2012, experienced relatively significant development in subsequent years, namely from 2013-2018. In several years, namely 2013-2016, tourists, especially locals, have begun to recognize the Maron River tourist attraction. The tourist attraction of Maron River, which was initially only a tourist attraction, has turned into a tourist destination. In the following year, namely 2016-2018, the Maron River tourist attraction experienced an increase in tourists. The impact of opening the Maron River tourist attraction has caused socio-economic changes in the people of Dersono Village. Likewise, the opening of the Maron River tourist attraction resulted in the opening of jobs for the people of Dersono Village. Most of the people initially became farmers, but now they have other jobs on the Maron River, such as boat jockeys along the river, trading, parking attendants, counter keepers, etc. Keywords: Maron River, Dersono Village, Impact on Socio-Economy.
