Abstract

ABSTRAK Nidia Vega Riyani. DAMPAK PENGEMBANGAN PARIWISATA TERJADAP KEHIDUPAN SOSIAL EKONOMI DAN BUDAYA MASYARAKAT. Skripsi. Pacitan: STKIP PGRI Pacitan.2023. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perkembangan pariwisata Pantai Srau, faktor yang mendorong adanya perubahan sosial, ekonomi dan budaya, dampak yang ditimbulkan dari adanya pengembangan pariwisata Pantai Srau terhadap kehidupan masyarakat, serta menganalisis kondisi keberdayaan masyarakat di Desa Candi. Penelitian ini merupakan bentuk penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Objek penelitian adalah Wisata Pantai Srau, sedangkan subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu Dinas Pariwisata Pemuda dan Olahraga Kabupaten Pacitan, Pemerintah Desa Candi, masyarakat setempat, dan wisatawan Pantai Srau. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa objek wisata Pantai Srau telah dikembangkan oleh pengelola objek wisata. Terjadi perubahan sosial pada masyarakat yang disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor diantaranya yaitu sikap masyarakat yang dapat dengan mudah menerima perubahan, pengaruh jumlah penduduk, kebutuhan masyarakat, pengaruh budaya luar, serta sistem pendidikan yang semakin meningkat. Adanya pengembangan pariwisata Pantai Srau tentunya memberikan dampak terhadap masyarakat baik berupa dampak positif maupun negatif. Dampak positif di antaranya yaitu adanya interaksi sosial yang baik antara masyarakat dan wisatawan, peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai pentingnya pendidikan, peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat, terbukanya peluang kerja, peningkatan kemampuan berbahasa pada masyarakat, serta adanya peningkatan semangat gotong royong. Adapun dampak negatif yaitu terjadinya kemacetan, terjadinya persaingan antara pelaku usaha, adanya pencemaran lingkungan, Pendapatan masyarakat yang tidak merata, adanya pengaruh dari budaya luar, serta terjadinya kenakalan remaja. The Impact of Tourism Development on the Socio-Economic and Cultural Life of the Community. Thesis. Pacitan: STKIP PGRI Pacitan.2023. This study aims to analyze the development of Srau Beach tourism, the factors that drive social, economic and cultural changes, the impact arising from the development of Srau Beach tourism on people’s lives, as well as analyze the condition of community empowerment in Candi Village. This research was a form of qualitative descriptive research. The data collection method used observation, interviews, and documentation. The object of research was Srau Beach, while the subjects this study were the Pacitan District Youth and Sports Tourism Office, the Candi Village Government, the local community, and Srau Beach tourists. Based on the research results, it can be seen that the Srau Beach tourism attraction has been developed by the tourism object manager. There have been social changes in society caused by several factors incluiding the attitude of people who can easily accept change, the influence of population, community needs, the influence of out side culture, and an increasing education system, especially positive impact in the social, economic and cultural fields. The development of Srau Beach tourism certainly has an impact on society, both in the form of positive and negative impacts. The positive impacts include good social interaction between the community and tourist, increasing public awareness about the importance of education, increasing people’s income, opening up job opportunities, increasing language skills in the community, and increasing the spirit of mutual cooperation. The negative impacts were the occurrence of traffic jams, the occurrence of competition between business actors, existence of environmental pollution, unequal income in society and the occurrence of juvenile delinquency.
