Abstract

ABSTRAK Sytha Nur Utami Sholichat. Pengembangan Hutan Mangrove Desa Kembang Kecamatan Pacitan Sebagai Objek Wisata Edukasi. Skripsi. Pacitan: STKIP PGRI Pacitan, 2023. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Menganalisis Pembuatan objek wisata edukasi Hutan Mangrove (2) Menganalisis hambatan pada pemanfaatan Hutan Mangrove sebagai objek wisata edukasi (3) Menganalisis manfaat objek wisata Hutan Mangrove sebagai objek wisata edukasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini dilakukan di objek wisata Hutan Mangrove Desa Kembang Kecamatan Pacitan, sedangkan subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu Pemerintah Desa Kembang, Pengelola Hutan Mangrove, Masyarakat Desa Kembang, dan Wisatawan Hutan Mangrove. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa objek wisata Hutan Mangrove merupakan objek wisata yang baru saja dibuka pada akhir tahun 2021, dan Hutan Mangrove mulai dirintis pada tahun 2014. Dampak dari adanya objek wisata Hutan Mangrove tersebut adalah untuk mencegah abrasi tanah dari gelombang air laut, serta untuk memelihara habitat ikan, udang, kepiting, dan hewan-hewan lain yang hidup disekitar Hutan Mangrove dimanfaatkan untuk menjaga sungai dari abrasi gelombang air laut dan juga untuk tujuan wisata alam. Pengembangan objek wisata Hutan Mangrove Desa Kembang ini memiliki beberapa hambatan atau kendala seperti terbatasnya sarana dan prasarana, keterbatasan dana untuk pengembangan wisata Hutan Mangrove, terbatasnya akses transportasi untuk menuju ke kawasan objek wisata Hutan Mangrove. Terbatasnya sumber daya manusia dalam bidang pariwisata, kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat untuk terus menjaga dan mengembangkan wisata Hutan Mangrove. This study aims to (1) analyze the creation of educational tourism objects for Mangrove Forests, (2) analyze obstacles to the use of mangrove forests as educational tourism objects, and (3) analyze the benefits of mangrove forest tourist attractions as educational tourism objects. This study uses qualitative research methods; data collection methods used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this research were conducted at the Mangrove Forest tourism object in Kembang Village, Pacitan District. In contrast, the issues in this study were the Kembang Village Government, Mangrove Forest Managers, Kembang Village Communities, and Mangrove Forest Tourists. The results of this study indicate that the Mangrove Forest tourist attraction is a tourist attraction that opened at the end of 2021, and the Mangrove Forest was initiated in 2014. The impact of the Mangrove Forest tourist attraction is to prevent soil abrasion from sea waves, as well as to maintain the habitat for fish, shrimp, crabs, and other animals that live around the Mangrove Forest are used to protect rivers from abrasion of sea waves and for nature tourism purposes. The development of the Kembang Village Mangrove Forest tourism object has several obstacles or constraints, such as limited facilities and infrastructure, limited funds for the development of Mangrove Forest tourism, and limited access to transportation to go to the Mangrove Forest tourism object area, the restricted human resources in the field of tourism and lack of public awareness to continue to maintain and develop Mangrove Forest tourism.
