Abstract

Dalam dinamika pendidikan islam yang kompleks, masjid dan pendidikan merupakan elemen yang saling terkait erat dan tidak pernah berdiri sendiri. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penting yang mendorong maksimalisasi peran masjid dalam membangun umat yang religius spiritualitas, dalam membentuk jiwa yang sehat secara jasmani dan rohani serta cerdas secara emosional, intelektual, maupun spiritual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Metode kualitatif sebagai prosedur penelitian yang menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis atau lisan dari narasumber penelitian. Sumber informasi diperoleh melalui hasil wawancara dan kuisioner dengan informan. Informan memiliki peranan penting dalam kepengurusan masjid yang diteliti. Peneliti juga menyertakan dokumentasi foto sebagai tambahan data yang disajikan. Hasil penelitian merupakan bentuk peranan masjid sebagai wadah guna memperkuat nilai-nilai toleransi sesama umat beragama juga menciptakan kedamaian serta ketenangan bagi masyarakat. Diharapkan hasil dari penelitian ini dapat menambah wawasan bagi semua kalangan baik akademisi maupun masyarakat. Kata kunci : Pendidikan, Masjid, Jami’ darussalam Baleharjo, Pacitan Abstract : In the complex dynamics of Islamic education, mosques and education are closely interrelated elements and never stand alone. This research aims to determine the important factors that encourage maximizing the role of mosques in developing religious and spiritual people, in forming souls who are physically and spiritually healthy and intelligent emotionally, intellectually and spiritually. This research uses qualitative methods. Qualitative methods are research procedures that produce descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from research sources. Sources of information were obtained through interviews and questionnaires with informants. Informants have an important role in the management of the mosque studied. Researchers also include photo documentation as additional data presented. The results of the research are a form of the role of mosques as a forum for strengthening the values of tolerance among religious communities as well as creating peace and tranquility for society.
