Abstract
ABSTRAK Novi Kusumaningsih. Analisis Karakter Siswa Melalui Pembiasaan Membaca Cerita Nabi di Kelas V SDN 1 Jatigunung. Skripsi. Pacitan: STKIP PGRI Pacitan, 2020. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) praktik pembiasaan membaca cerita Nabi di Kelas V SD Negeri 1 Jatigunung; (2) karakter yang muncul melalui pembiasaan membacar cerita Nabi di kelas V SD Negeri 1 Jatigunung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif yakni mendeskripsikan tentang variabel penelitian yang digunakan. Pelaksanaan penelitian pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yakni observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara untuk memperoleh hasil penelitian. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik kemudian di lanjutkan dengan analisis data yakni dengan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan atau verifikasi data. Dalam menganalisis data tersebut peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang meliputi pengumpulan data, analisis data. Teknik dalam menentukan subjek penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan purposive sampling yakni dengan tujuan atau keperluan tertentu. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas V SD Negeri 1 Jatigunung. Hasil analisa data menunjukkan bahwa melalui praktik membaca cerita Nabi dapat meningkatkan karakter siswa di kelas V SD Negeri 1 Jatigunung. Hal ini dapat di lihat dari penerapan pembiasaan membaca cerita Nabi yang di lakukan di rumah melalui kerja sama dengan orang tua. Upaya dalam meningkatkan karakter siswa tidak hanya di lakukan oleh siswa dan guru, tetapi akan dapat terlaksana dengan baik apabila orang tua juga ikut bekerja sama untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut. Melalui hal ini selain praktik pembiasaan membaca cerita Nabi di lakukan di sekolah, tetapi praktik ini juga di lakukan di rumah, yakni dengan bimbingan, motivasi, dan dukungan dari orang tua, sehingga karakter siswa dapat terwujud. Melalui hal ini praktik membaca cerita Nabi yang di lakukan dapat meningkatkan karakter siswa yakni seperti karakter religius, toleransi, cinta dami, gemar membaca, bersahabat/komunikatif dan tanggung jawab. S1-Thesis. Pacitan: STKIP PGRI Pacitan, 2020. This study aims to find out: (1) habituation practices to read the Prophet's story in class V SDN 1 Jatigunung; (2) the character that appears through habitual reading aloud the Prophet's story in class V SDN 1 Jatigunung. This type of research was a qualitative descriptive that describes the research variables used. The implementation of research in the second semester of academic year 2019/2020. This research used data collection techniques there were observation, documentation, and interviews to obtain research results. Legitimacy of data using technique triangulation then proceed with data analysis using the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data display and conclusion or data verification. In analyzing data the researchers used qualitative descriptive methods that include data collection, data analysis. The technique of determining the subject of this study used purposive sampling. with specific objectives or requirements. The subject in this study is class V SDN 1 Jatigunung. The data analysis results showed that through the practice of reading the Prophet's story can improve the character of students in class V SDN 1 Jatigunung. This can be seen from the application of habitual reading of the Prophet's story that is done at home through cooperation with parents. Efforts to improve students character were not only done by students and teachers, but it would be well carried out if parents also work together to make it happen. Through this in addition to the practice of habituation read the Prophet's story at the school, but this practice is also done at home, namely with the guidance, motivation, and support from the elderly, so that the character of students can be realized. Through this practice, reading the Prophet's story that is done can improve the character of students such as religious character, tolerance, love Dami, likes reading, friendly/communicative and responsibility.
