Abstract

ABSTRAK Desita Putri Asyana. EFEKTIFITAS PROJECT BASED LEARNING (PJBL) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH SISWA KELAS V DI SDN 3 CANDI KECAMATAN PRINGKUKU KABUPATEN PACITAN.Skripsi. Pacitan: STKIP PGRI Pacitan, 2024. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses penerapan Project Based Learning (PJBL) pada pembelajaran IPAS di kelas V SDN 3 Candi. Selain itu peneliti ingin mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa sebelum penerapan Project Based Learning (PJBL) di kelas V SDN 3 Candi, serta mengetahui efektivitas Project Based Learning (PJBL) IPAS terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas V SDN 3 Candi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian akan dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 3 Candi dengan alamat Kerok Wetan, Candi, Kecamatan Pringkuku, Kabupaten Pacitan, Provinsi Jawa Timur. Informan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah tujuh siswa kelas lima SD Negeri 3 Candi, kepala sekolah, serta wali kelas V. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Triagulasi sumber digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebagai keabsahan data. Teknik analisis data yang dipakai adalah analisis data miles and Huberman. Hasil analisis data menyimpulkan bahwa: 1) Project Based Learning (PJBL) di SDN 3 Candi, khususnya untuk kelas V dengan Kurikulum Merdeka, bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. 2) Sebelum penerapan project based learning (PJBL), kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa belum optimal, sering mengalami kesulitan dalam menemukan inti masalah, dan merasa kurang percaya diri saat menyampaikan pendapat. 3) PJBL di SDN 3 Candi terbukti efektif dalam mempersiapkan siswa untuk tantangan di masa depan dengan menjadi lebih mandiri dan proaktif dalam proses pembelajaran. THE EFFECTIVENESS OF PROJECT BASED LEARNING (PJBL) ON THE PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITY OF GRADE V STUDENTS IN SDN 3 CANDI, PRINGKUKU SUB-DISTRICT, PACITAN DISTRICT. Thesis. Pacitan: STKIP PGRI Pacitan, 2024. This study aims to determine the process of implementing project based learning (PJBL) in IPAS learning at fifth grade SDN 3 Candi. In addition, the researcher wants to know the problem-solving ability of students before the application of project-based learning (PJBL) at fifth grade SDN 3 Candi, and to comprehend the impact of Project Based Learning (PJBL) IPAS on the problem-solving ability of fifth-grade students at SDN 3 Candi. This descriptive qualitative research uses a case study approach. The researcher takes the data in SD Negeri 3 Candi. It was located at Kerok Wetan, Candi, in the Pringkuku District of Pacitan Regency, East Java Province. The main informants of this research were seven fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 3 Candi, the principal, and the fifth-grade teacher. The techniques used in collecting data for this research were observation, interview, and documentation. Source triangulation was used in this research as data validity. The data analysis technique used is Miles and Huberman data analysis. The results of the data analysis concluded that: 1) Project Based Learning (PJBL) at SDN 3 Candi, especially for grade 5, with the Merdeka Curriculum can improve students' problem-solving skills. 2) Before the application of project-based learning (PJBL), students' problem-solving skills were not optimal, students often had difficulty finding the core of the problem, and felt less confident when expressing opinions. 3) PJBL at SDN 3 Candi proved effective in preparing students for future challenges by becoming more independent and pro-active in the learning process.
