Abstract
ABSTRAK Nurul Avita. PENGEMBANGAN BUKU PANDUAN ICE BREAKING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR KELAS TINGGI PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPA. Skripsi. Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar. STKIP PGRI Pacitan. 2024. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: 1) prosedur pengembangan media buku panduan ice breaking berbasis sains, 2) kelayakan media buku panduan ice breaking berbasis sains, 3) efektifitas buku panduan ice breaking untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar kelas tinggi pada pembelajaran IPA. Jenis penelitian termasuk dalam kategori Research & Development (R&D) dengan menerapkan model ADDIE yang dimofikasi oleh Aldoobie (2015). Subjek penelitian meliputi 3 guru dan 23 siswa dari kelas 4, 5, dan 6 di SD Negeri 3 Sirnoboyo. Sampel uji coba diperoleh dengan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan angket. Analisis data mencakup tingkat kevalidan produk dari ahli media, ahli pembelajaran, dan ahli bahasa, analisa data angket respon guru, dan analisa data uji efektivitas produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) buku panduan ice breaking untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar kelas tinggi pada pembelajaran IPA berhasil dikembangkan sesuai dengan tahap ADDIE, 2) kelayakan buku panduan ice breaking dinyatakan "Sangat Valid" dengan rerata skor ahli media 4,44, ahli pembelajaran, 4,33, dan ahli bahasa 4,25, serta angket repon guru memperoleh skor 100% dinyatakan "Sangat Baik", 3) tingkat keefektifan media buku panduan berbasis sains pada kelompok kecil menunjukkan N-Gain Score 58,8% kategori “Cukup Efektif”, dan pada kelompok besar menunjukkan N-Gain Score 72,3% kategori “Efektif”. DEVELOPMENT OF AN ICE-BREAKING GUIDEBOOK TO INCREASE THE MOTIVATION OF UPPER-CLASS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS TO LEARN SCIENCE. Thesis. Primary teacher education. STKIP PGRI Pacitan. 2024. This research aims to describe: 1) the procedure for developing science-based ice-breaking guidebook media, 2) the suitability of science-based ice-breaking guidebook media, and 3) the effectiveness of ice-breaking guidebooks to increase the motivation of upper-class elementary school students to learn science. The type of research falls in the category of Research & Development (R&D) by applying the ADDIE models modified by Aldoobie (2015). The research subjects included 3 teachers and 23 students from grades 4, 5, and 6 at SD Negeri 3 Sirnoboyo. Test samples are obtained using a simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. Data analysis includes a level of product validity from media experts, learning experts, and language experts, the teacher's questionnaire data analysis, and the test data analysis of the product's effectiveness. The result of the study shows that: 1) the ice-breaking guidebook to increase the learning motivation of upper-class elementary school students to learn science successfully developed by the ADDIE stage, 2) the feasibility of the ice-breaking guidebook stated to be "Very Appropriate" with the average score of 4.44 for media experts, 4.33 for learning experts, and 4.25 for language experts, and the teacher response questionnaire obtained a score of 100% stated to be "Very Good", 3) the level of effectiveness of guidebook-based media science in small groups shows N-Gain Score 58.8% in the "Fairly Effective" category, and in the large group it shows N-Gain Score 72.3% "Effective" category.
