Abstract
Risa Damayanti. Analisis Kesulitan Siswa Dalam Mengerjakan Soal Cerita Matematika Operasi Hitung Campuran Bilangan Bulat Kelas IV Di SD Negeri 1 Ploso Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024. Pacitan: STKIP PGRI Pacitan, 2024. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan Analisis Kesulitan Siswa dalam Menyelesaikan Soal Cerita Matematika Operasi Hitung Campuran Bilangan Bulat di Kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Ploso. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan subjek siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Ploso sebagai sumber data. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data,dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Siswa mengalami tiga jenis kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika operasi hitung campuran bilangan bulat, yaitu kesulitan dalam menggunakan konsep, prinsip, dan menyelesaikan masalah verbal; (2) Penyebab utama kesulitan siswa adalah kurang pemahaman terhadap operasi hitung campuran dan konsep yang terlibat, kesulitan dalam memahami kalimat soal dan mengidentifikasi masalah dalam soal cerita, serta kesulitan dalam mentransformasikan informasi soal kedalam kalimat matematika yang tepat. ANALYSIS OF STUDENTS' DIFFICULTIES IN SOLVING MATHEMATICAL WORD PROBLEMS OF MIXED OPERATIONS WITH INTEGERS IN GRADE IV AT SD NEGERI 1 PLOSO. Year 2023/2024. Pacitan: STKIP PGRI Pacitan, 2024. This research aims to describe the analysis of students' difficulties in solving mathematical word problems involving mixed operations with integers in Grade IV at SD Negeri 1 Ploso. The research method used is qualitative, with Grade IV students of SD Negeri 1 Ploso as the data source. Data were collected through observations, interviews, tests, and documentation. Data analysis employed data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that: (1) Students experience three types of difficulties in solving mathematical word problems of mixed operations with integers, namely difficulties in using concepts, principles, and solving verbal problems; (2) The main causes of students' difficulties are lack of understanding of mixed operation concepts and involved principles, difficulties in understanding problem sentences and identifying issues in word problems, and challenges in transforming problem information into appropriate mathematical sentences.
