Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan literasi matematis siswa kelas VII pada kategori yang memenuhi KKM dan dibawah KKM dalam memecahkan soal matematika model PISA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu teknik tes dan wawancara. Pada penelitian ini pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII A SMPN 2 Pacitan tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah instrumen tes, dan wawancara. Sedangkan analisis data yang digunakan yaitu Miles dan Hubermen. Berdasarkan penelitian ini diperoleh hasil bahwa: (1) Kemampuan literasi matematis siswa kelas VII pada kategori dibawah KKM hanya memiliki kecakapan terkait angka dan simbol matematika, belum mampu menganalisis informasi dan menyelesaikan masalah. (2) Kemampuan literasi matematis siswa kelas VII pada kategori memenuhi KKM sebagian mampu menganalisis informasi serta memiliki kecakapan terkait angka dan simbol matematika, dan sebagian memiliki kecakapan terkait angka dan simbol matematika serta mampu menyelesaikan masalah. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Literasi Matematis, Soal Model PISA. ABSTRACT This study aimed to describe the mathematical literacy ability of class VII students in the categories that meet the KKM and below the KKM in solving mathematical problems using the PISA model. This research was a case study qualitative research with data collection techniques, namely test and interview techniques. In this study, the sampling used was purposive sampling. The subjects of this study were students of class VII A of SMPN 2 Pacitan for the academic year 2020/2021. The instruments used in this study were test instruments, and interviews. While, the data analysis technique used Miles and Hubermen. Based on this research results, it was obtained that: (1) The mathematical literacy ability of class VII students, which were in the category of below the KKM only has skills related to numbers and mathematical symbols. They have not been able to analyze information and solve problems. (2) The mathematical literacy ability of class VII students which were in the category of meeting the KKM was partly able to analyze information and have skills related to mathematical numbers and symbols, and some have skills related to mathematical numbers and symbols and are able to solve problems.
