Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) prosedur media pop-up book berbasis pendidikan kebencanaan untuk pengetahuan dasar kebencanaan siswa Sekolah Dasar, 2) kelayakan media pop-up book berbasis pendidikan kebencanaan untuk pengetahuan dasar kebencanaan siswa Sekolah Dasar, 3) hasil pengembangan media pop-up book berbasis pendidikan kebencanaan untuk pengetahuan dasar kebencanaan siswa Sekolah Dasar. Jenis penelitian ini Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Borg & Gall yang telah dimodifikasi Sugiyono. Langkah-langkah yang ditempuh meliputi a) potensi dan masalah, b) pengumpulan data, c) desain produk, d) validasi desain, e) revisi desain, f) uji coba produk, dan g) revisi produk. Produk diuji cobakan kepada 5 siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar dalam uji coba kelompok kecil. Kelayakan produk berdasarkan hasil penilaian ahli materi, ahli media, ahli pembelajaran, dan respon siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, angket, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) media pop-up book berbasis pendidikan kebencanaan telah dikembangkan menggunakan model Borg & Gall yang telah dimodifikasi oleh Sugiyono, 2) media dinyatakan efektif berdasarkan pencapaian ketuntasan belajar siswa yang mencapai nilai ?75 atau sebesar 80%, 3) penilaian ahli materi dengan rerata skor 4,2 �Valid�, penilaian ahli media dengan rerata skor 4,43 �Sangat Valid�, penilaian ahli pembelajaran dengan rerata 4,3 �Sangat Valid�, dan penilaian siswa dalam uji coba kelompok kecil dengan rerata 4,34 �Sangat Valid�. Kata Kunci: Pop-Up Book, pendidikan kebencanaan, dan pengetahuan dasar. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine: 1) procedure of pop-up book media based on disaster education for basic knowledge of disaster for elementary school students, 2) feasibility of pop-up book media based on disaster education for basic knowledge of disaster for elementary school students, 3) results of developing a pop-up book based on disaster education for basic knowledge of disaster for elementary school students. This type of Research and Development (R&D) with a Borg & Gall development model had been modified by Sugiyono. The steps taken include a) potential and problems, b) data collection, c) product design, d) design validation, e) design revision, f) product trial, and g) product revision. The product has been tested on fifth-grade elementary school students in a small group trial. The feasibility of the product has based on the result of the assessment of material experts, media experts, learning experts, and the responses of fifth-grade elementary school students. Data collection techniques using observation, interview, questionnaire, test, and documentation. The results showed that: 1) pop-up book media based on disaster education had been developed using the Borg & Gall model which had been modified by Sugiyono, 2) media was declared effective based on the achievement of student learning mastery who reached a score of 75 or 80%, 3) Material expert assessment with a mean score of 4.2 "Valid", media expert assessment with a mean score of 4.43 "Very Valid", learning expert assessment with an average of 4.3 "Very Valid", and student assessments in small group trials with an average 4.34 "Very Valid".
