Abstract

ABSTRAK Shofiatun Muhajir. Aspek Sosial Dan Budaya Dalam Novel Serat Cantigi Karya E. Rokajat Asura. Skripsi. Pacitan: STKIP PGRI Pacitan, 2022. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui aspek sosial dan budaya di dalam novel Serat Cantigi karya E. Rokajat Asura. Penelitian ini menggunakan kajian sosiologi sastra yang bersifat kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data utama menggunakan novel Serat Cantigi karya E. Rokajat Asura. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik pustaka berupa teknik simak dan catat. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik dialektika. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam novel Serat Cantigi karya E. Rokajat Asura ditemukan aspek sosial dan budaya berupa: 1) Interaksi sosial yang terdiri dari kerja sama, akomodasi, kontravensi, dan pertentangan; 2) Sistem ekonomi yang mencerminkan mata pencaharian hidup masyarakat Sunda yaitu pada sektor perdagangan, pertanian, dan jasa seperti pedagang, petani, petugas stasiun, tukang becak, tukang kredit, pegawai, buruh pabrik, guru, pengusaha tekstil, pengrajin tradisional, dan penjahit; 3) Sistem religi yang mencerminkan agama dan kepercayaan yang dianut masyarakat sangat kental seperti keyakinan terhadap Tuhan, menjalankan kewajiban beragama. Selain itu mereka juga percaya terhadap hal-hal gaib, kekuatan sakti, dan benda-benda bertuah; 4) Masalah sosial disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor seperti faktor ekonomi, budaya, dan psikologi. Kata Kunci: budaya, ekonomi, interaksi sosial, religi, sosiologi sastra. ABSTRACT Shofiatun Muhajir. Social and Cultural Aspects in Serat Cantigi Novel by E. Rokajat Asura. Thesis. Pacitan: STKIP PGRI Pacitan, 2022. This study aimed to determine the social and cultural aspects in the novel Serat Cantigi by E. Rokajat Asura. This study used a descriptive qualitative study of sociology of literature. The main data source used the novel Serat Cantigi by E. Rokajat Asura. The data in this study were collected using library techniques in the form of listening and note-taking techniques. The data analysis technique used dialectical techniques. The results of this study indicated that in the novel Serat Cantigi by E. Rokajat Asura found social and cultural aspects in the form of: 1) Social interaction consisting of cooperation, accommodation, contravention, and conflict; 2) An economic system that reflected the livelihoods of the Sundanese people, namely in the trade, agriculture and service sectors such as traders, farmers, station workers, pedicab drivers, creditors, employees, factory workers, teachers, textile entrepreneurs, traditional craftsmen, and tailors; 3) The religious system that reflected the religion and beliefs held by the community is very strong, such as belief in God, carrying out religious obligations. In addition they also believe in supernatural things, supernatural powers, and magical objects; 4) Social problems were caused by various factors such as economic, cultural, and psychological factors.
