Abstract

ABSTRAK Anggi Eria Rahayu. KONFLIK BATIN DALAM NOVEL LUKACITA KARYA VALERIE PATKAR (KAJIAN PSIKOLOGI SASTRA). Skripsi. Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia STKIP PGRI Pacitan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan bentuk konflik batin tokoh utama; (2) mendeskripsikan penyebab konflik batin pada tokoh utama dalam novel Lukacita karya Valerie Patkar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan psikologi sastra. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Lukacita karya Valerie Patkar dengan fokus penelitian pada konflik batin dan faktor penyebab konflik batin yang dikaji dengan pendekatan psikologi sastra yang mengacu pada teori Kurt Lewin. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik baca dan catat yang kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis isi. Penelitian ini menggunakan validitas semantis dan pertimbangan oleh para ahli. Realibilitas yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu, dengan melakukan pembacaan terhadap isi novel secara berulang-ulang. Reliabilitas ini diperlukan untuk mendapatkan keakuratan data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, (1) konflik batin yang dialami tokoh utama yaitu, konflik batin mendekat-mendekat (approach-approach conflict) yang berupa perasaan cinta, bahagia, syukur. Konflik batin mendekat-menjauh (approach-avoidance conflict) yang berupa perasaan bimbang dan penderitaan. Konflik batin menjauh-menjauh (avoidance-avoidance conflict) yang berupa perasaan sedih, kecewa bahkan berupa penyesalan. (2) Faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya konflik batin dalam novel Lukacita karya Valerie Patkar yaitu perbedaan antar perorangan seperti adanya perbedaan pendapat dengan ayah, perbedaan pendapat dengan ibu, perbedaan pendapat dengan kakaknya, dan perbedaan pendapat dengan orang lain. This study aims to (1) describe the form of inner conflict of the main character; (2) Describe the causes of inner conflict in the main character in the novel Lukacita by Valerie Patkar. This research is a qualitative research using a literary psychology approach. The source of the data in this research is the novel Lukacita by Valerie Patkar with a research focus on inner conflict and the causes of inner conflict which are studied using a literary psychology approach that refers to Kurt Lewin's theory. The data collection technique used was reading and note-taking which was then analyzed using content analysis. This study uses semantic validity and consideration by experts. Reliability is carried out in this study, namely by reading the contents of the novel repeatedly. This reliability is needed to get the accuracy of the data. The results of this study indicate that, (1) the inner conflict experienced by the main character, namely, inner conflict approaching (approach-approach conflict) in the form of feelings of love, happiness, gratitude. Inner conflict approaching farm (approach-avoidance conflict) in the form of feeling hesitant and suffering. Inner conflict away from (avoidance-avoidance conflict) in the form of feelings of sadness, disappointment even in the form of regret. (2) Factors that influence the occurrence of inner conflict in the novel Lukacita by Valerie Patkar, namely differences between individuals such as differences of opinion with fathers, differences of opinion with mothers, differences of opinion with their sister, and differences of opinion with others.
