Abstract
The purpose of this study is to identify the phenomenon of verbal abuse in the daily conversations of students in the class. The goal of this study is to look at the level, characteristics, contributing factors, and the impact of verbal abuse. This study used descriptive qualitative research with a purposive sampling method. The data sources in this study were 5 students from 11th grade of Motorcycle Engineering Program of SMK N Pringkuku, the data collection techniques used in this study were observation and questionnaire, and there were three data analysis processes used in this study. Researchers will collect as much data as possible based on the research objectives. Then comes the data display, which compiles the results of data reduction using a table and simple description, and finally, the data verification, which answers the research objectives. According to the findings of the research, the phenomenon of verbal abuse of students is relatively moderate. Key words: Verbal Abuse, Conversation, Student
